There's a coloring page for St. John Bosco here (find them listed in alphabetical order) and find coloring sheets for St. Catherine of Siena, St. John Vianney, St. Teresa of Avila, and Mary here.
This year K4J has a circus theme- FUN! :-) It looks like they already have a lot of great snacks and crafts lined up for every day! But here are some additional ideas as well as ideas for turning your parish hall into a 3 ring cicrus!
Decorating for a Circus- I would suggest lots of balloons, and creating a canopy out of alternating red and white streamers. Find a lot more of great circus decor ideas here!
For food, you could always go with some "circus classics" such as caramel apples, soft pretzels, animal cookies, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, or circus peanuts. (I would steer clear of real peanuts because of allergies.) You can even print your own popcorn boxes for decoration! Don't forget to turn your snack station into a "concession stand"!
Find tons of great circus decorating and food ideas here, including these adorable signs.
Family Fun has an article about hosting a "clown school". They have clown activities and food for kids as well as decorating ideas, costume ideas, and more!
I love this balloon archway as well as rest of the circus eye candy you can find here.
I found sooooo many cute circus cupcakes and dessert ideas that I just couldn't help but post tons of them! (Self control issues... I know!) So here we go:
My favorites are these zoo cupcakes
from Family Fun!
Check out these circus tent brownies.
Classic clown cupcakes from Family Fun.
Clown Hat Cookies from Country Living.
These clown cupcakes from Martha Stewart
might be a great "snack activity" for kids!
These balloon cupcakes are too much fun!
I'm also in love with these popcorn cupcakes
from Kara's Cupcakes.
I think jello jigglers would be a great colorful
circus snack, and would be waaaay cute if cut
out into animal shapes. Yellow lion, blue elephant, etc.
Did you know that St. John Bosco used to entertain kids by juggling? Here are two different juggling ball crafts you can do with kids.
Here's an adorable Clown Hat Craft!
I love this Elephant Craft.
And just incase anyone in your group can make balloon
animals, here are directions for making Christian ones :-)
