Don't you call your priest "Father"? He can't have biological children of his own, so I think this is a nice time to show him some appreciation! :-)
I came up with this craft for packaging your Father's Day gift to your priest. It's a sort of a counterpart to all the "necktie" stuff you see for regular Father's Day gifts.
What you need to make your "Priest Necktie"
- White and Black felt or paper
- Glue
- Scissors
Cut a strip of black, and glue on a little white square for the collar. Then just wrap it around any present for your priest and attach with some tape!
Maybe a bottle of wine.
Or put it around a rosary!
Ok... maybe your priest has enough rosaries. But you can wrap the collar around any present for your priest, like gift cards, homemade cookies or a loaf of bread, or even a "coupon" for a home cooked meal with you and your family! Don't forget to tell him, "Happy Father's Day!" :-)
I'm going to leave you with this funny little video about getting your priest a cake for father's day.
