All Saint's Day - Catholic Craft for Kids

All Saint's Day is just around the corner! I wanted to share a craft my daughter did with our preschool co-op last year.

Depending on the age of the child, you may need to cut out the cloud and write "The Saints are in Heaven with Jesus" before starting. Have your child add the glitter first, taking care to knock off the excess. If your kids are anything like mine, they'll really love the glitter! Let the kids cut out saint pictures from old Catholic catalogs, prayer cards, or images you've printed off the computer. Attach with a school glue. (Don't attempt to use a glue stick for sticking pictures over the glitter.)

I love this craft especially for young kids. "The saints are in heaven with Jesus" is such a simple yet valid lesson on the saints for kids.

I'm also planning on having a linky for All Saint's Day soon. According to my facebook page, it's something y'all are interested in. I'll choose the date for that one soon and keep you all posted! And the Rosary Linky is still open for a few days if any of you still have some rosary ideas to link up! :-)

  2. me too! I have a few all saints ideas up my sleeve! Also, they had some saint stickers at dollar tree (wish i had bought them when I saw them) that would also work well for this activity. Keep up the great work!

  3. What an easy peasy craft. we will definitely do this one. I have been looking around for an interesting craft and this will be it ! Love the heavenly cloud. Thanks Lacy.

  4. Thanks for your inspiration Lacy. We did this craft today and had fun doing it. it is an awesome teaching tool too -- Little Flower asked lots of questions about the saints we used.

  5. ooops, here's the link if you want to check it out.

  6. Wow! This blog looks just like my old one!

It's on a entirely different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Great choice of colors!
