Letter of the week: G
Theme: Good Shepherd
Saint of the Week: St. George
Craft: We are His Sheep
Materials Needed to Complete This Craft:
- White card stock or poster board
- Black Construction Paper
- Clothes Pins
- Cotton Balls
- School Glue (this is not a good project for glue sticks)
- Googly eyes or Office stickers for notebook paper holes
- Marker
Now your kids are ready to craft. Help them to cover their oval with glue. Then let them stick cotton balls all over it. The clothes pin legs can be pinched on. Let them stick eyes on their lamb's head. I would have liked to have googly eyes, but we were fresh out. So we used those office stickers that go around notebook paper holes. They worked well! We cut them in half to make mouths, but the sheep would be adorable with no mouths also.
The clothes pin legs allow them to stand up.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this site. I am not Catholic, but I teach Pre-k in a Cathoilc school. I have been able to implement some of the things you suggest in my classroom. (They LOVE the preist dolls). Do you know of any other authors that write good Catholic children's books besides Tomie DePaola?
ReplyDeleteAdorable! the project and the Lightening McQueen fan!
