I was using my new awesome
Catholic Toolbar the other day (you can download yours for free
here) and I found these amazing directions for making sacrifice beads! St. Therese used beads on a string as a child to count the acts of love she did for God. They're now known as "Sacrifice Beads" or "Good Deed Beads". When you do an act for God, you push a bead across the string in, and the bead stays put! They're very popular during lent given the season of sacrificing.

ReplyDeleteMy girls love making these. In fact I have my Little Flowers group make them every year at the start of a new session. They find someone to give them to if they already have a set.

Those sacrifice beads are so pretty. The kids will really enjoy making them and adults will too! :)
